Miller Argent is acutely aware of the impact that the 'Ffos-y-fran Land Reclamation' scheme will have in the local community and also of the important role the benefits can bring.

Works on site are being carried out to minimise the impact upon the local community during the period that the scheme is being operated. Upon completion of the scheme, the community will benefit from a fully reclaimed landscape, safe from its present day dangers.

During the working of the project, the community will benefit from the creation of over 600 direct and indirect jobs and have the use of facilities such as two minibuses and an education and training centre. 

Miller Argent is contributing to a multi million pound Community Benefit Fund administered by Merthyr Tydfil Borough Council.
